Custom resculpted and painted Peter Stone Arabian Stallion.

"Moon Over Xavier"

Peter Stone original "Traditional" sized (approximately 12 inches) Arabian Stallion mold. Resculpted and painted to be a faint dappled rose grey arabian Stallion.

Top and bottom lip sculpted for more definition to the mouth. Nose resculpted. Head and neck arched and lowered dramatically. Ears carved. Entire mane and forelock removed and resculpted in locks alterating either side of the neck. New forelock added. New extended tail sculpted. Sweeping around leg all the way to the pastern. Enhanced detailed sculpted area anal and stallion parts. All four hooves carved out and antiqued.

Painted in pastels and acrylics. Faintest lacing dapples in greys and chestnut mixed in for rose color on the back, neck, shoulder, rump. Black shaded legs with lighter chestnuts antiqued. Heavy black facial points on this stallion. Flesh pink and black nose. Darkened stallion genitalia. Dark grey hooves with sienna shading and faint streaking, then antiqued in darker brown and black. Mane and tail in multiple shades of grey and white with chestnut mixed in.

Eyes done in multiple shades of brown with highlights and low tones. Reddish brown fleshy sclera with white haze. White highlights.

Real metal horse shoes antiqued in black for definition. Nail marks along hooves.

(Gloss added to the muzzle and sides of nose up along the face and around eyes to mimic oiled areas done in arabian halter showing.)

Painted in acrylics and sealed in a satin sealer. Inside and outside of nose, mouth, and eyes glossed. Artist signature and date under hind leg.
