Custom resculpted and painted Peter Stone Arabian Mare in foal.

"Mina Fala"

Peter Stone original "Traditional" sized (approximately 12 inches) Arabian Stallion mold. Resculpted and painted to be a heavily pregnant bay gone grey arabian mare.

Top and bottom lip sculpted for more definition to the mouth. Nose reduced in size slightly and nostrils carved out. Head and neck repositioned. Entire neck removed and new sculpted neck lowered for relaxed standing pose. Ears carved. Entire mane and original forelock removed and resculpted in locks alterating either side of the neck. New forelocks added. Tail resculpted. Arched high at the base and sweeping over the hind leg. Left hind leg brought out in the typical Arabian stance. Female mammories sculpted in detail, large and engorged for nearing delivery. Hooves carved out and antiqued. large round pregnant belly sculpted and carried low for late term pregnancy appearance. Heavy veinging sculpted from the udders extending upwards under the belly. Second set of veins sculpted from the side of the upper barrel under the front legs extending down.

Painted in pastels and acrylics. Base color in antique white. Layered in greys, sienna and heavy black. Dappled out. Sprayed in between each layer. Three white socks and a white stocking on the rear leg. White tattered blazefacial marking. Black and flesh colored muzzle. Dark chestnuts. Darkened mare udders. Natural light hooves with sienna and greying shading and streaking. Mane and tail in white and light grey at the ends darkening to grey black towards the roots.

Eyes done in multiple shades of brown with highlights and low tones. Reddish brown fleshy sclera with white haze. White highlights.

Horse wears real antiqued metal horeshoes on all four hooves with silver painted nailmark accents.

Painted in acrylics and sealed in a matt sealer. Inside and outside of nose, mouth, tips of the teats, and eyes glossed. Artist signature and date under hind leg.
