"Israh El Storm"

Peter Stone original "Traditional" sized (approximately 12 inches) Arabian Stallion mold. Resculpted and painted to be a grey bay rearing arabian Stallion.

Top and bottom lip sculpted for more definition to the mouth. Nose reduced in size slightly. Head and neck repositioned. All four legs repositioned. New neck sculpted. Taken from a standing pose to a full rearing pose. Ears carved. Entire mane and original forelock removed and resculpted flowing behind the neck. New forelocks added. Tail resculpted. Arched high at the base. male anatomy removed then resculpted in detail. All four hooves carved out and antiqued. Permanently affixed to a sand dune style base. Left hoof embedded into a splash of carved sand blowing away from the hoof. Other leg suspended in the air stepping. Base sculpted in apoxie, painted and covered in sand.

Painted in pastels and acrylics. Base color in goosefeather. Layered in greys, sienna, umber, and black. Dappled out. Sprayed in between each layer. Left front coronet. Right front sock. White streaked stripe facial marking. Black nose with pink mottling. Light chestnuts. Darkened genitalia, with partial pinking on slightly exposed male organ. Natural light hooves with beige shading and streaking on socked legs. Darkened black then antiqued and faintly streaked remaining hooves. Mane and tail in black fading into grey. Black forelocks.

Eyes done in multiple shades of brown with highlights and low tones. Reddish brown fleshy sclera with white haze. White highlights.

Real metal horse shoes antiqued in black for definition. Nail marks along hooves.

Painted in acrylics and sealed in a matt sealer. Inside of nose, mouth, inside the male sheath, and eyes glossed. Artist signature and date under hind leg.
