Custom resculpted and painted Peter Stone Arabian Mare.

"Hindua Sha"

Peter Stone original "Traditional" sized (approximately 12 inches) Arabian Stallion mold. Resculpted and painted to be a dappled red bay arabian mare inspired by the many beautiful arabian stallions, mares, and geldings of the Wunderbar Arabian ranch.

Top and bottom lip sculpted for more definition to the mouth. Head and neck lowered and turned. Ears slightly enlarged to resemble a mare. Front leg turned out to be stepping. Entire mane and original forelock removed and resculpted in locks alterating either side of the neck. New forelock added. Entirely new tail sculpted. Arched high at the base and flowing full draped against the leg. Enhanced detailed sculpted anal and full mare anatomy. All four hooves carved out and antiqued.

Painted in pastels and acrylics. Dapples on the back, neck, shoulder, rump. Three high white socks, tiny white star, stripe, snip facial markings. Flesh pink and black nose. Dark chestnuts. Darkened mare parts. Three natural light hooves with beige shading and streaking and one black hoof with lighter sooty shading and streaking. Mane and tail in black.

Eyes done in multiple shades of brown and golden highlights. Reddish brown fleshy sclera. White highlights.

Real metal horse shoes antiqued in black for definition. Nail marks along hooves. (though I noticed I forgot to paint them until after the photos were taken- The silver nail marks are now on the hooves.... just not in these photos~ sorry)

(Gloss added to the muzzle and sides of nose up along the face and around eyes to mimic oiled areas done in arabian halter showing.)

Painted in acrylics and sealed in a satin sealer. Inside and outside of nose, mouth, and eyes glossed. Artist signature and date under hind leg.
