Custom resculpted and painted Peter Stone Arabian Mare inspired by the beautiful....

"Alibi's Whisper Dance"

Peter Stone original "Traditional" sized (approximately 12 inches) Arabian Stallion mold. Resculpted and painted to become the portrait model of Alibi's Whisper Dance, a dappled grey arabian mare.

Top and bottom lip sculpted for more definition to the mouth. Nose reduced in size slightly for a more feminine look. Head and neck straightened and raised up high. Ears carved and slightly enlarged to resemble a mare. Entire mane and original forelock removed and resculpted in locks alterating either side of the neck. New forelock added. Tail cut down and reduced in size for young mare with resculpting. Arched high at the base and whipped out behind her. Enhanced detailed sculpted area anal and full mare anatomy. Back leg turned out. All four hooves carved out and antiqued.

Painted in pastels and acrylics. Faint dapples on the back, neck, barrel, shoulder, and rump. White socks on fore and hind left leg. Flesh pink spotted black nose. Light antiqued chestnuts. Darkened mare mammories with black and flesh speckled genitalia. Natural light hooves with beige shading and streaking, then antiqued in darker brown and black on two hooves with darker antiqued remaining hooves. Mane and tail in multiple shades of grey and white with a few faint chestnut hairs mixed in.

Eyes done in multiple shades of brown with highlights and low tones. Reddish brown fleshy sclera with white haze. White highlights.

Real metal horse shoes antiqued in black for definition. Nail marks along hooves.

(Gloss added to the muzzle and sides of nose up along the face and around eyes to mimic oiled areas done in arabian halter showing.)

Painted in acrylics and sealed in a satin sealer. Inside and outside of nose, mouth, and eyes glossed. Artist signature and date under hind leg.
