"Wind Chant"

Larger "Mini" size (approximately 4.25 x 5 inches ) Resin Stallion "Pipsqueak" mold sculpted by Kathi Bogucki. This original sculpture is a sculpted reduction of the popular War Chant resin.

Painted to a Dark Grulla Blanket Appaloosa Stalion.

Painted in pastels and acrylics. Base color in white with layered shading. Pastelled shading in multiple shades of of grey, faint sienna, and black. Shaded and antiqued in the veining, and the musculature. Sprayed in between each layer. Over 17 layers of pastel work. Spotted and shaded under the lower stomach. Faded ghost spots done in pastels then lightly coated in acrylic for depth then repeated over a series of layers. Haloing accents on the spots. Appaloosa striped hooves. Mane and tail in matching mixture of grey, white, and black in multiple layers and antiqued. Dark shaded legs. Light sandy colored chestnuts. Stallion anatomy in flesh and black mottled spots. White spotted socks with white star and streak facial marking. Flesh and black spotted nose. Yellowing teeth painted with flesh inside the mouth.

Eyes done in multiple shades of brown with elongated pupil.

Hooves semi-glossed.

Painted in acrylics and sealed in a matt sealer. Inside of nose, genital opening, and eyes glossed. Inside the mouth accented with a mixture of gloss and white for foaming saliva at the mouth corners. Artist signature and date under hind leg.
