Custom resculpted and painted Safari Warmblood hunter stallion with hound.

"Justin with Scout"

Safari Blue Ribbon Collection Series. Sized (approximately 9 X 6 inches) Hanoverian Mare mold with Breyer Beagle (sized approximately 2 inches). Resculpted and repainted to be a seal bay hunter Stallion. Original tail removed with new braided hunter tail sculpted. Original genitals removed with new stallion parts sculpted in high detail. Original sculpted horse shoes removed and hooves reshaped. Nose and both nostrils resculpted.

Done in acrylics and pastels. Base color in light beige. Various shades of ocre, sienna, umbers, walnut, and black done in multiple layers. Over 25 layers of pastel work on this model. Mane and tail in solid black. Right rear coronet marking. Small white star on the forehead, and tiny flesh snip marking on the nose. Braid bands accented on the mane and tail in white. Eyes done in multiple shades of browns. Elongated pupil and highlights. Light grey colored chestnuts. Hooves in black. Real metal antiqued horseshoes added to all four hooves with double row of silver nailmarks painted on.

Hound done in acrylics and pastels. Tricolor markings.

Painted in acrylics and sealed in a matt sealer. Inside and outside of nose, mouth, inside the exposed genitals, hooves, and eyes glossed. Artist signature and date under hind leg. Signature located under hound's paw.
