Ballroom scene costume

17 1/2 inches tall.

Hair fully rooted by hand in light golden blonde. Hand dyed roots and streaks with glitter added within the scalp.

Painted in acrylics and also pastels then sealed in satin spray sealer. Eyes glossed several times to appear wet. (eyes are very detailed but my camera doesn't capture it well--none of the pictures do this doll justice) I have a hard time with this digital camera getting those good close-ups of the eyes on my dolls and models.

White long-sleeved blouse with gathered high-neck collar, sparkling black jacket with tails done in shades of blue and blue-aqua glitter, Black slacks, and genuine black leather boots. Shirt is not to be removed. Closed on the back. Pants have two snap closuer on the front. Boots are removable and have three side snaps. All original paint removed and repainted. Eye color matches David Bowie's exactly. Left eye is done a green-brown color with a fully dialated pupil, while the right eye is done in grey with a normal pupil. Both eyes have iris accents and highlights. Full Jareth eye shadowing in the shaded arch above the brow line. Lashes and liner as well as flesh corner accents in eye as well. Finally, face is buffed in a pearl foundation cover coat giving him his Jerath look. Lips are also pearl coated for accent. Cheeks done using pastels then sealed. Lines added to corners of mouth, nose and eyes to give a more mature look. Nails done in a pearled french manicure and hands have been antiqued.
